Thank you Leila El Gharbi, Allyson J. Sullivan and Anastashia K. for organising such a great CLOC (Corporate Legal Operations Consortium) FOMO informal meet up on Friday. Sometimes things just click - what a lovely group of people to chat and get to know on a Friday afternoon. My 2 key takeaways - 1. There's some real innovation going on 'behind the scenes' in-house with limited budgets. This is driven by the curiosity and ingenuity of people with a passion for legal ops and a general sense that "there must be a better way". 2. Boring is the new interesting. People want to get beneath all the hype on Linkedin and see real things. I must make time to create the educational and practical content that I have been planning for a while now. I had delayed this due to other priorities and a concern that it would be too boring, but after Friday's chat I think this concern was misplaced. Hopefully the first of many meet-ups to come, and further confirmation for me of the importance of actively working on building supportive networks of people. #networking #communitybuilding #legalops #RLegalEngineering

We touched on the importance of specific start and end dates, due diligence in screening, and understanding legal processes under the Consumer Protection Act. Plus, we discussed the responsibilities of landlords and how to navigate potential challenges effectively. Prepare TODAY for what CAN happen TOMORROW It’s not just a motto, it’s a NECESSITY! . How many times has something in your life happened unexpectedly and your stress level 🚀 shot through the roof because you weren’t prepared? .
