This new article on the proposed H-1B rule discusses timing for the final rule and analyzes the comments and potential USCIS reaction to those comments. “Employers and university groups expressed uniform opposition to the ‘directly related’ language and labeling business administration a general degree.” The Trump-era proposal in the rule would narrow positions considered specialty occupations by requiring degrees be in a “directly related specific specialty.” The rule also includes new policies on work at customer locations and USCIS investigative site visits. #immigration #h1bvisa #h1b
