A while ago, during a family event, we forgot the code to open a briefcase. Everyone suggested finding a technician to open it. I noticed the briefcase had a three-digit code. I estimated it would take about 15 minutes to guess the code, as trying one combination takes about one second. So, I started trying combinations and managed to open it within 5 minutes, while everyone was still looking for a mechanic. I call this problem-solving approach "solving with first principles." I always recommend people to solve problems without delegating or using pre-built tools.
