Kicking off the new year with a bang by completing the MITRE room on TryHackMe! 🎉 This room provides a comprehensive overview of the various resources that MITRE has made available for the cybersecurity community. It was a deep dive into everything from the ATT&CK Framework to the Cyber Analytics Repository (CAR) Knowledge Base, ENGAGE, D3FEND, and ATT&CK Emulation Plans (AEP). The real-world applications of these resources, especially concerning threat intelligence, were particularly enlightening. The room did an excellent job of demystifying complex concepts like Advanced Persistent Threat (APT) and Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTP). I finished the MITRE room in TryHackMe. In this course, I learned how to use MITRE effectively. There are many articles on cybersecurity. Understanding the meaning of each word (like APT, C2, and so on ) and ID (like T1134 and M1036) is really helpful.
