A really good summary article from Kate Rogers and the Cazenove Capital Team on the changes to investment guidance agreed by the Charity Commission for England and Wales . As a trustee myself for a charitable foundation, this is all very welcome and a good evolution on charitable investment best practice. Whilst long overdue, good practice takes time to develop - Far better that way, than policy made on the fly! #wealthmanagement #charities #trustees

Yesterday, the Charity Commission for England and Wales published updated investment guidance for charities. It comes after several years of consultation, a court case and various delays. During this time, Cazenove Charities actively represented our clients, contributing to the consultation and reviewing the draft guidance. • Kate Rogers says: The guidance aims to offer “greater clarity and to give trustees confidence to make investment decisions that are right for their charity.”
