Picture the scene when Musa (as) stood with the people of Bani Israel. On one side, the vast sea; on the other, an approaching army coming to destroy and erase every last of them. At that moment, the people of Bani Israel, seeing no escape, started to lose hope and were about to give up. Doubt crept in, and questions about Allah's mercy surfaced. Isn't it true that we often find ourselves in similar situations—with no way out, surrounded by obstacles on all sides, and sometimes facing people who are seeking our downfall? Like the people of Bani Israel, we too start to feel lost and question Allah's mercy. In those moments, take a step back and firmly remind yourself, just as Musa (as) reminded the people of Bani Israel: Allah is with me. Allah is with me. Allah is with me. He will guide me and take care of it all for me. Now, notice an interesting part of this story, Musa (as) didn't just rely on the faith that the help of Allah will come; he took action! Hitting the sea with his staff, which by the will of Allah caused the sea to part and formed a miraculous path. In this is a lesson for us: Place your trust in Allah and take the necessary actions. Tie the camel and have faith that Allah will safeguard it for you! Reflect on your situation and ask yourself, what's your action? You've made dua, and you trust Allah, but what steps are you taking? Identify tangible steps, remembering that Allah's help comes to those who strive. As a Muslim, understand that things won't magically get better; effort and faith go hand in hand in our reality. What is Qurbani? Qurbani, or Uḍḥiya as it is known in Arabic, is the practice of sacrificing an animal for Allah (swt). Every year, on the days of Eid al-Adha (from 10th to 13th of Dhul Hijjah), Muslims around the world sacrifice an animal to mark the completion of Hajj. This practice commemorates the sacrifice of Ibrahim (as) thousands of years ago, who was prepared to sacrifice his beloved son for Allah’s sake (read his story below). Qurbani is not simply the slaughtering of an animal and the distribution of its meat, and it is more than a commemorative ritual. The word ‘Qurbani’ is derived from the Arabic, ‘qurban’, which has its root in the Arabic word ‘qurb’ – meaning ‘nearness’. The purpose of offering Qurbani is to draw near to Allah. Through Qurbani, we reaffirm what we sometimes forget in the hustle and bustle of everyday life – that we completely submit to Allah, and we are willing to sacrifice whatever is asked of us to be close to Him and gain His pleasure, just as Prophet Ibrahim (as) did so many years ago. Thus, an important part of Qurbani is remembering to hold onto our sincere intentions and striving to be closer to Allah through this symbolic sacrifice.

Noble Quran 67:15) He it is Who made the earth subservient to you. So traverse in its tracks and partake of the sustenance** He has provided. To Him will you be resurrected.*** **That is, this earth has not become subdued for you of its own accord, and the provisions also that you are eating have not become available here by themselves, but Allah has so arranged it by His wisdom and power that your life became possible here and this splendid globe became so peaceful that you are moving about on it with full peace of mind, and it has become such a vast table spread with food that it contains endless and limitless provisions for your sustenance. If you are not lost in heedlessness and look about yourself intelligently, you will find how much wisdom underlies in the making of this earth habitable for you and arranging in it immeasurable stores of provisions for you. If you're going through hard times now, remember it won't last. “If Allah wills good for someone, He afflicts him with trials.” Allah tested: ■Nuh (A.S) with flood ■Ibrahim (A.S)with fire ■Dawood(A.S) with war ■Musa (A.S) with tyrants ■Younus (A.S) with patience ■Yaqoob (A.S)with blindness ■Suleman (A.S) with kingdom ■Yusuf (A.S) with imprisonment ■And Above All, Allah tested HIS beloved Prophet Muhammad (SAW) With: •War •Hunger •Enemies •Lost of Children →The tests of Allah are indeed unique to each individual. → What may seem like a trial for one person may not affect another person in the same way. → We all have different strengths and weaknesses, and Allah knows us best. → He designs our tests in a way that challenges us personally and helps us grow. ALLAH test some people with: ●Illness ●Betrayal ●Patience ●Lonliness ●Heartbreaks ●Hopelessness ●A prolonged pain ●Emotional distress ●Financial instabilities ●Grief & Loss of loved one Or may test some others with ●Fame ●Power ●Wealth ●Success ●Prosperity But remember one thing: لَا يُكَلِّفُ اللَّهُ نَفْسًا إِلَّا وُسْعَهَا “Allah does not burden a soul beyond that it can bear.” (Qur’an 2:286) → Comparing our tests to others' is not productive. Instead, → Be patient → Keep praying → Embrace tests we face → Focus on our own journey → Strive to overcome them with faith and perseverance. Here are four myths about Ramadan I’ve heard from my non-Muslim colleagues and friends over the years that I’d like to correct as we enter the holy month. Please add your own in the comments and share to your non-Muslim friends too: Myth 1: Ramadan is a month of being hungry. Truth: Ramadan is a month of being present. Ramadan is about being more connected with Allah in a personal and private way through individual prayer and in a public uniting way through bringing together our global community of worshippers. Myth 2: Ramadan fasting just means no food and water. Truth: Fasting is much more than just no food and water, more importantly fasting is about keeping our mind pure of bad thoughts, our tongue still from bad words and gossip, and our bodies away from desire. Fasting is a way to center the divine at the beginning, end, and throughout all the things that we do. Myth 3: Ramadan is a month of sacrifice Truth: Ramadan is a time of abundance in the things that we should truly value - the divine, our family, our community, and ourselves. Muslims do not think of Ramadan as a month of having earthly things less, we think of Ramadan as a time for having heavenly things more. Myth 4: Ramadan is a punishment. Truth: Ramadan is a gift. Muslims aren’t forced to fast once a year, we are blessed to have Ramandan once a year. In fact, we wish we could always keep our focus on the divine so strong, but god knows the challenges and distractions of humanity and daily life and thus we use this month to focus more than the other times of the year. The hope is that this one month of closeness with the divine inspires increasing closeness in the other parts of the year as well. Assalam O Alaikum, I hope this message finds you in the best of health and spirits. With Eid ul Adha just around the corner, I wanted to share a heartfelt reminder about the true essence of our good deeds, especially our sacrifices. Firstly, I don’t doubt anyone's sincerity. However, in Islam, it is emphasized that showing your good deeds publicly or announcing them can diminish their value. As we know, the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: **"Actions are judged by intentions, and every person will get what he intended." (Sahih Bukhari 1)** **"The thing that I fear most for you is minor shirk (showing off good deeds)." (Ahmad 23119)** The Quran also guides us: **"Say: Indeed, my prayer, my rites of sacrifice, my living and my dying are for Allah, Lord of the worlds." (Surah Al-An'am 6:162)** **"So woe to those who pray but are heedless of their prayer, those who make show (of their deeds)." (Surah Al-Ma'un 107:4-6)** There's wisdom in the saying that we should do good with one hand and the other hand should not know about it. This Eid ul Adha, as we perform the Sunnah of Ibrahim (A.S.), let's focus on the sincerity of our actions. Posting pictures of our sacrificial animals on social media can turn this noble act into a competition, seeking recognition and respect from people. Hiding our good deeds and doing them solely for the sake of Allah's pleasure is key. It doesn’t matter if people perceive us as pious or not. Ultimately, showing off, whether intentional or unintentional, can nullify our good deeds. For the sake of Allah, let’s not waste our good deeds just to be seen as good people by others. Let’s ensure our actions remain pure and directed towards pleasing Allah alone. JazakAllah Khair for your understanding. May Allah accept our sacrifices and grant us sincerity in all our actions.

Allah (God) created this life to test us. This is why there is Good & Evil. Many things and events may at first seem good but later, one realizes it was evil, and vice versa. True knowledge, which is not subject to any limitations, is only Allah’s knowledge. Therefore, measuring good and evil according to our human limited knowledge may be misleading. The ultimate goal of human life is to worship Allah alone and submit to His will. Accordingly, whatever brings a person closer to Allah would be good for him, and whatever takes a person away from Him is evil. It is Allah’s will to impose affliction and distress upon His servants to test them and purify them from misdeeds and sins. Afflictions are apparently bad, but the truth is that it is the core of benefit and welfare to a Muslim.  So afflictions and calamities have been created for a reason, which none can fully comprehend but Allah; however, we can see that:  Calamities are a test of the believer’s patience.  Calamities are signs of man's weakness and his need for his Lord, and it drives him to start beseeching for help.  Calamities are means of expiation of sins and raising one's status.  If the world was free of calamities, man would love it more, feel content with it and would forget about the Hereafter. But calamities wake him up from his negligence and make him strive for the place in which there are no calamities or trials. After thorough analysis I realised that there are two basic and fundamental structural defects in the constitution of UN which are 1. Veto Power System for the permanent members of the security council of UN. Since there is a body of all stakeholders in the form of General Assembly wherein all member- countries of the UN are represented there is absolutely no need of Security Council to accept or reject the resolutions passed by General Assembly. As such Security Council should be dissolved forthwith. 2. All member countries of UN are not signatory to the Rome statute consequently some countries are not under the International Criminal Court (ICC) whereas all the member countries have to be under the jurisdiction of ICC so that peace prevails in the world. . Due to these defects America has made a mockery of the UN as it is reduced to a puppet in the hands of the America. Consequently America with some allies have invaded several Muslim countries like Afghanistan, Iraq and Libya and looted several countries then leaving these countries after the loot is complete. Presently America with the help of Israel (both countries are not under the jurisdiction of ICC) is demolishing, doing cold blooded mass murders, devastation, destruction , displacement, ethenic cleansing, murder especially of children and women and genocide and the whole world including the UN have to be mute spectators of all this and nobody has the powers to question them because of these defects in the constitution of UN. More than seven decades have passed by but the above-mentioned defects in the constitution of UN were not rectified. Non-rectification of these defects has created a very grave situation as instead of peace maintaining organisation UN became a weapon of blackmailing and means of invading and looting the rich countries by some countries which were having the veto power also besides these countries were not signatory to the Rome statute consequently these countries were not under the jurisdiction of ICC. As the result these countries became law per se and virtually became terrorist countries of the world because they were not answerable to any forum for whatever they do. Now the climax of lawlessness has reached in Palestine where total devastation, destruction, cold blooded mass murders, genocide, ethenic cleansing, kidnapping and rape of innocent and unarmed civilians is being done and the whole world including UN have to be mute spectators because of the basic and fundamental defects in the constitution of UN have not been rectified. This is the highest time these defects are rectified by the General Assembly. Let General Assembly wake up after decades of slumber and rectify the defects as proposed above.
