Interested in the linkages between #compassion and #primaryhealthcare? One of the personal highlights of 2023 was having the privilege of working with our wonderful colleagues at the Focus Area for Compassion and Ethics (FACE) to explore these important linkages. The fascinating findings can be found here: https://lnkd.in/dG5vST8p 1. Report: Compassion and PHC This document highlights the importance of compassion in driving forward with the PHC approach, describes key linkages between compassion and specific components of the PHC approach, and summarizes insights gleaned during a virtual event co-hosted by the WHO Special Programme on Primary Health Care and FACE. 2. Webinar Recording During the virtual event, “Compassion: An Engine for Primary Health Care,” had the honor of facilitating a discussion with four panelists on compassion’s influence on the motivation for operationalization and reorientation of PHC. Looking forward to continuing this important work in partnership with the Taskforce for Global Health in 2024.
