During our family trip to London my daughter dragged us on a wild chase for VIRAL strawberries dipped in chocolate at Borough Market. (Spoiler alert: It was AMAZING!) Sure, London has Buckingham Palace and Big Ben, but my kid was obsessed with these strawberries all over TikTok. I was skeptical, but... Imagine a bustling market, rain pouring, and EVERYONE chanting 'Strawberries! Chocolate!' We finally reach the stall, and the line is ZIGZAGGING for miles. Just when I thought the wait would ruin the day, the magic happened! This stall had a system like a well-oiled machine. People directing the flow, payment stations galore, and a team assembling orders like lightning! My son bit into the chocolate-covered strawberry and declared it 'genius!' It wasn't just the taste, but the experience. This business owner took a simple idea, NAILED customer service, and BOOM - a viral sensation. I was amazed! I understand part of what’s up here, but the company is where he needs to get resolve not its victims! I have worked at many sweatshops over the decades like Dell, Amazon, FedEx, the US Department of Commerce, and the entire cannabis industry. The one thing they all have in common is the notion that their employees are expendable and they use that notion like a government sponsored double edged sword! Hard physical labor doesn’t pay well! If you do this kind of work, then you know. If you get hurt, not only are you admonished (real Christian values) if you put in a comp claim (many places prefer that you commit fraud and tell the doctor the injury didn’t happen on the job) most likely they will find a way to let you go! Here is the irony our workforce experiences. If you decline to do a job you are assigned to even if it is because you are physically incapable of doing what is asked of you, you are labeled as a difficult employee and replaced! If you do the work and get hurt management’s response is that you should have know not to over exerted yourself and you are labeled a comp risk and let go! The root cause of all this is #unrealexpectation which is how companies push their employees to the breaking point and injure them (lazy management and fat boardroom fux who lack creativity)! At this point I am preaching to the choir! EVERY place I have worked at not only breaks OSHA mandates, they resent them and they take it out on their workers, short staffing, skirting safe unloading procedures, and definitely pit workers against each other in order to squeeze blood out of a penny! I can’t describe how hollow it makes you feel when you give all you got and then some and they just spit in your face and want more! I have been on comp. If you have too then you know! It is a humiliating experience that is not worth revisiting for any reason! Just another way our government uses taxpayer dollars to insulate these slave drivers and enforce their will! We are taught that we are all equal in our public schools. That was one of many lies we were taught! What we need to leave the table with the food here because you have to go to the bathroom! Don't drink all your root beer float at once you will get full. It all sounds like a great idea 💡 These are some of the dramatics that happen when taking my loved one out to eat and it can be exhausting. The truth is that continuing to keep them involved in the community decreases isolation and depression. Put an outfit on that you don't mind if it gets food on it, have plenty of napkins and wipes to take care of messes, purchase foods they can easily consume, if they drop their hotdog ask for another one, and refills are always a plus. Most important give yourself plenty of time for the outing, rushing only causes frustration between you both.😘

This is one of the best opportunities to meet your neighbors. Take time to say hello to people in their yards and driveways. 5. Invite them over for a BBQ or an event at your house (you can even invite other people in the neighborhood). 6. If they have pets, bring over some treats or toys for them!
