Testing is an exciting phase in the design process, but which type of prototype is ideal for mobile? The answer depends on the feedback you seek. A low-tech paper prototype or simple wireframe might suffice for basic functionality or user flow testing. A mixed-fidelity prototype can test basic functions and flows while offering the benefit of tapable elements. A high-fidelity prototype is more suitable for evaluating complex interactions like animations, gestures, or transitions. These prototypes closely resemble the final product, incorporating visual design and, at times, live code. Continue learning here 👉 https://bit.ly/45EdtSP

Ever flick through phone screens and feel right at home? It's not a coincidence! This post explores Common Fate, a design principle that uses motion to create a seamless user experience: 1. Learn how our brains naturally group things that move together, influencing how we interact with interfaces. 2. Discover the power of animation to make interfaces intuitive and user-friendly, and see how Common Fate can even override other design principles! 3. Gain insights on using Common Fate for dropdowns, scrolling effects, microinteractions, and building a clear visual hierarchy for focused user attention. Want to create interfaces that are not only functional but also a joy to use? Check out the full post:

"Intent-centric" is a concept that you've likely heard of before 🌐 And you'd be in the majority if you've written it off as a buzzword But... what are intents? What difference will intent-centric design actually make to users? 🤔 This is precisely what I set out to answer during my talk at intent.wtf in Istanbul 👇 https://lnkd.in/d5TwyXj9
