The most dangerous threats to intelligence agencies often come from within. Insider threats may involve employees leaking sensitive information, whether through malice or naivety. To combat these, managers must promote responsible culture and benefit from behavioral analysis. Tactics may involve: • Social media monitoring programs to identify personnel who may be targets for blackmail or radicalization • Random audits of data access, copying, and transfers to catch nefarious activities • Frequent, unpredictable polygraph testing focusing on counterintelligence risks Insider threats can be reduced with caution and empathy. #insiderthreat #ethicalculture #counterintelligence #investigations #riskmanagement

📣🇺🇸Frank and fearless analysis on the state of US OSINT : “Open-source information (or publicly available information [PAI]) and tradecraft remain stovepiped in the Open Source Enterprise (OSE), deprioritized by OSE's parent organization (the Central Intelligence Agency [CIA]), unevenly available across organizations and offices, or inaccessible, and the role of an OSINT functional manager is absent.” “Our study was not originally designed to focus on OSINT, but as we asked one person after another how to overcome politicization (sunlight is the best disinfectant), how to monitor foreign adversary activities in the United States (use open sources), and how to reveal these activities to affected Americans and commercial entities (publicly release intelligence), all roads led to OSINT.” #osint #risk #resilience #natsec

Wow ! Imagine having a proper agency running the nations energy sector. I can’t even begin to imagine what it must be like to have an “Office of Intelligence and Counter Intelligence” attached to your energy Department. Imagine a federal government department adopting a security and resiliance posture to soverign energy security ! That level of situational awareness is simply unheard of. We don’t want to ACTUALLY know what the threats to our national energy supply chain are because then we might have to do something about it ? We don’t have that kind of strategic thinking in Australia…I guess that’s why we have so much foreign investment and ownership of our energy assets ? https://lnkd.in/gM4SBR-3 “Energy security” to Australia seems to mean storing enough oil to keep the nation running for 2 weeks…but not so much that the environmental activists get upset.

3wNo, not after what I experienced in your Plainfield pharmacy on Leland and South Avenue on July 6th. I will never go back there again. I still do not know what the pharmacist injected me with, and it broke out in a rash by the morning. I will tell everybody I know in the area, as well as post this warning on the net. To not go to Walgreens for anything because they are races and treat Black people horribly. I did not get any document on what was injected into my arm, but I kept the band-aid used to cover the injection site. Don't go there for COVID-19. I was my appointment was canceled because they were pulling off all the vaccines, but there were people there getting the vaccines just not me.
