The quickest way to ensure that June 2025 is another chaotic lodgement nightmare is to make no changes and hope it turns out differently. It doesn't need to be that way. You don't need to be worried about losing clients because you couldn't get their SMSFs lodged on time. You don't need to be chasing your SMSF Administrator for updates or contacting the ATO for extensions. The client doesn't care that it is not you, but your SMSF Admin partner, that is running behind. Right now is the time to make a change - https://lnkd.in/dHP8vVr #smsf #selfmanagedsuper #smsfaccounting

As a heads-up to all of you, there's a trending scam out there worth knowing about. Have you received an M-Pesa prompt asking you to input your PIN, yet you didn't initiate it? Here's what's likely happening: scammers are inputting your number on various platforms, such as betting sites, and hoping you'll unknowingly enter your PIN, thereby topping up their accounts or completing other purchases. To protect yourselves, you must confirm every prompt before entering your PIN. If possible, have a specific phone number for MPESA transactions. I also feel all platforms with payment integrations must enforce phone number verification during registration and prevent users from editing them during the payment process. Stay vigilant, everyone!
