📢 Welcome Sheen Kak to the Spyglaz AI Team! We are delighted to introduce Sheen Kak, who is joining Spyglaz AI as a Machine Learning Operations Engineer. Sheen recently graduated from Santa Clara University with a degree in Computer Science, focusing on Data Science. As an ML Ops Engineer, Sheen will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between our Machine Learning, Software/Data Engineering, and DevOps functions. This position is vital, even for the smallest startups, as it ensures the seamless deployment and management of machine learning models in production environments. At Spyglaz AI, Sheen will: - Serve as the key link between Machine Learning, Software/Data Engineering, and DevOps functions. - Implement best practices from all three areas to ensure successful model deployment and management. - Act as the primary project manager and contact for customer IT teams, managing data transfer processes via APIs and ensuring data is updated in AWS as per schedules. Sheen's background includes valuable experience in building predictive models using random forests and neural networks, as well as learning new frameworks like React. His passion for continuous learning and his diverse skill set make him a fantastic addition to our team. Let's give a warm welcome to Sheen! Hey everyone, We are building a community of people who are genuinely interested in Machine Learning research and want to take-on complex problems. The idea is to promote collaborative research in A.I. instead of just fine tuning existing models. Most of the Indian startups are just fine-tuning or reusing the existing API that sits on top of OpenAI or Mistral. Everyone is just focusing on LLMs because that's the hot trend and APIs are available. But there are so many interesting areas such computer vision, multi-agent system and RL. If you believe that we can change that and build, do join us. Few activities that we do: 1. Discuss newly published research and methodology in various domains. 2. Regular meetups in Delhi-NCR. 3. With GenAI, the landscape of software engineering will definitely change in 2-3 years. It will drastically change in 5-10 years. We cannot be all data scientists, but we can learn the capabilities of GenAI and at a minimum learn how to be very good technical product owners to define requirements on how to solve the problems that we cannot easily solve now. #softwareengineering #genAI
