Last week our team poured structural columns at Ellis Glen, our newest mixed-use construction project located in downtown Lee's Summit. Soon we'll finish foundations and begin framing in early fall. The building will offer 26 apartment units and 9,000 sq. ft. of commercial space on the first floor with a sleek, modern exterior. As the first urban infill mixed-use development in downtown Lee’s Summit since 2001, Ellis Glen will replace blight, expand the footprint of downtown City of Lee's Summit and enhance the vibrant, walkable culture of the neighborhood. Here’s the update at Aspire Apartments in Kansas City, Kansas where we have 325 luxury units under construction.  NorthPoint Management's pre-leasing efforts led by Pam Allee - Lakey, CAM , LEAD are going strong and this Class-A community will welcome their first resident move-ins in August!   The pool was recently completed, units look fantastic, and the clubhouse interior is coming along so nicely.  Kudos to our team and project partners who are moving this project along so smoothly.    Aspire is a Phase III community following Village West Apartments (Phase I) and Prairie View at Village West Apartments (Phase II).  One of the cool parts about this project is that our Superintendent was on Phase I & II, so the relationships we have built with the City of KCK and other local officials over the years are invaluable.   Look out for for more updates as the community continues to progress. This Tuesday our team was excited to attend the Groundbreaking Press Conference at what will be our 27th project constructed for NorthPoint Development: Ascent Apartments!    Located in North Kansas City adjacent to NorthPoint’s new company headquarters, our team will construct 339 Class-A luxury apartment units with stunning indoor and outdoor amenities including beautiful lounges and gathering spaces, a sports simulation room, an apx. 20’ ft rockclimbing wall, a custom outdoor kitchen, a pickleball court, an infinity-edge heated salt water pool, and much more.   We look forward to working with our design partner, Rosemann & Associates, and the many trade partners who will come together to bring 339 units of modern apartment living to North Kansas City.   Earthwork is now underway and our team will begin piers and retaining walls later this summer.  With completion targeted for late 2026, our team is pumped to get started, and we’ll keep you posted with updates as the project progresses.
