🔎 Could there be new developments in treating spinal cord injuries? 🔀 A team of researchers found a way to further functional restoration after a spinal cord injury in mice by directing the regeneration of axons (nerve fibers) from specific neuron groups to their natural target regions using chemical signals. ✅ When these axons were guided to their natural target regions, the walking ability of mice was significantly improved. ❗️The study brings us one step closer to restoring human neurological function after a spinal cord injury. 👉🏼Find this interesting?
