Hi Neville. Nice video. I’ve been thinking of you ever since I awoke this morning. Another dream remembered, and a meaningful one. In the dream I had just been invited to send my book to a publisher along with some papers written by my daughter (no memory of what those were). In the dream, this publisher sounded like a psychologist, appreciating the way I approach the problems in my life. How I focus on the day-to-day joys of life to avoid becoming overwhelmed by the bigger picture of all that is or has occurred in my life that is overwhelming. I awoke feeling very vindicated. As if I had passed some test, received some special credit for a difficult job well done. I have only just today realized that the posts I write, which may well be “the book” he was going to publish, are a kind of memoir or memoirs of my daily life. I write about the flowers or the murder mysteries, or the weaving, but between the lines I mention the aches and pains, physical and emotional, of growing old. I slip in hints of what it’s like to live with a non-functioning septic system. I add a taste of what it’s like to live with adult children who threaten my independence. These things, I think, are what make people read my posts. Vulnerability and coping.
