Great to hear about how well Today Team Time Critical Logistics has been getting on with their development work with Simon Schumann-Davies Chartered FCIPD, MSc, BSc, BA , learning more about themselves to make them even better leaders, managers and colleagues 💡💡 Investing in people and the future of the business. Thanks for sharing your experience!
🦁🐒 Do you see yourself as a Lion, or more of a Monkey? Would red be the best colour to describe you, or maybe blue? 🔴🔵 Last week we had a couple of fantastic sessions with Simon Schumann-Davies Chartered FCIPD, MSc, BSc, BA from the brilliant People Puzzles, making sense of workplace behaviours and how they can align with company values. It was great to dig deeper into our team’s strengths, and begin to better understand each other’s core work characteristics for greater staff unity through a number of behaviour models, and aligning them with the Today Team ethos. Inspired by the sessions, a number of the team are already looking forward to further one-on-one sessions with Simon for their CPD in the future.

Former University President, Consultant, Podcaster, Board Member, Author of "Leadership on the Field of Play" (Amazon)
69. Another Look at Confidence in Higher Ed In Episode 59 I took a look at the level of confidence that presidents and chief financial officers have in their institutions’ viability and higher education in general. I still don’t get how the relatively positive outlook of these groups aligns with the trends toward closures, downsizing, mergers and acquisitions that we are witnessing. But recent studies from Gallup and Insider Higher Ed offer other perspectives, provided by the American public and university business officers. In this episode I’ll look at the erosion in confidence expressed by the general population, and how the view of business officers varies from that of other higher education leadership concerning the health of the education sector. And more importantly, we’ll consider the road going forward. Or not. #highereducation #confidence #businessmodels #futureofeducation https://lnkd.in/ecbAgxCv

CEO of Inspire 2 Ignite CIC | Connecting Future Talent to Forward-Thinking Businesses through Life-Changing Experiences 🌟
What does it mean to ‘Be more Gen Z’? This is what Faith Falayi, Tariq Sadiq, Eva Lindy W., Laura Guymer and I discussed yesterday at the Form the Future CIC conference. We unpacked… The importance of how we all need to use the ‘5-yard-rule’ when sharing our stories - you never know how this may inspire someone positive change reaction it can have afterwards The need for experiences - the knowledge that a young people will gain through doing will far outweigh the learning that they’ll gain from a text book. It’s all well and good having the knowledge, but what’s the point if you haven’t had the opportunity to apply it? How we should educate young people about essential elements of our society such as the civic service much earlier in their academic journey - How much experience and impact could they have on others if they were exposed as early as 8, not 16? MASSIVE shoutouts to… Eva Lindy W. for being an excellent facilitator. Laura Guymer for inviting me Anne Bailey and the Form the Future CIC team for putting on the event. It’s incredibly inspirating to see!
