LOOKING FOR FEEDBACK, I am trying to build a method of Giving for Donation ideas, and here is one I have come up with, where I am contacting companies that are Bee or Honey associated because our main character is a Bee. what are your thoughts? Hi, we are a nonprofit organization, in Fresno, for the prevention of abuse by educating through Play and Entertainment. We have cartoon/comic characters that are called the Bugillagers. Our main character is named RowJoeBee and his best friend is SemBelAnt. We are considering setting up a donation page based on naming the various characters that will be used in the comics and cartoons that we will be producing. Would you, as a BEE based company, consider donating to our cause, for the privilege of naming A Bee for our stories, A Queen for our stories, and/or a Hive for our stories? Or for a larger donation, create the personality for that character? Or even our other insectile characters. We are considering setting up a page on our site, that would automate such a Donate/Name feature, but we need to know if it would actually be viable as a method of getting involvement? Last week one of JGnil's clients, @JazzGardner, took the first steps in launching his charitable vision, The Jazz Section, providing underprivileged children with the opportunity to see big time basketball in the January 8th game @wolfpack vs @airforce..... with great results made up of big smiles and lifetime memories for the kids in attendance, shirts and of course @grimaldispizza!   Jazz also found the additional Q&A that comes with the first steps and launch, beyond the typical X's and O's of on court hoops. This is why spending time with JGnil clients BEFORE event planning to prepare for the delivery of message on a different stage is part of our process.   Another point of interest, in addition to the interview preparation, is acknowledging that many high profile entertainers are introverts and need coaching in public speaking or question/answer interviews. Additionally, many athletes and entertainers have a social media team managing their incoming AND outgoing content.     While we do not manage every aspect of our clients accounts, we do review the language for business oriented posts and the narrative we want to tell and work on making sure that message is delivered as well as discussing the domino effect of our content decisions. It is not just what is said, but even more important what is written! This is KEY in our efforts to secure brand endorsement deals as corporations want to put their product/capital behind well spoken sponsor/influencers with consistent messaging when looking for strategic partners. NOT just an influencer trying to make money This off court/field/stage prep is invaluable in all stages of the client/brand relationship...and even when you prepare, crutch words (uh, like, you know) or stress related actions (head scratch, nose itch) still manage to happen!! Every two years, the Olympics captivate the world with compelling stories of triumph and heartbreak, perseverance and glory, and communities and countries coming together. As we approach storytelling for our P2P events and campaigns, what can we learn from this? Just as Olympic stories highlight the coaches and families who support the athletes, we can also share the stories of the donors who stand behind our fundraisers. Like the Olympics, which celebrate both major and minor victories—such as a country winning its first medal or a world record being broken—we can honor achievements of all kinds, from first-time fundraisers reaching their goals to top fundraisers setting new records. And just as the Olympics celebrate the collective power of teams and fans, we can recognize the incredible impact that occurs when our fundraisers unite to support our missions.
