[📣Breaking news] - Bayer and ELICIT PLANT join forces in #France for sustainable agriculture 🌱 🌽] In response to the increasing climatic challenges in the agricultural sector, Bayer and Elicit Plant are joining forces to accelerate the resilience of corn crops in France. In France and from 1 October 2024, Bayer will become the exclusive distributor of Elicit Plant's Best-a and EliZea products, designed to address water stress in corn. 🌽 The partnership aims to extend the reach of Elicit Plant's innovative biotech solutions and leverage Bayer's expertise in sustainable agriculture, which offers a comprehensive range of DEKALB seeds, plant protection products and digital tools. Seeing the fruits of investment, in the most literal way: The #Agri-Impact initiative saw positive POC results with NOF - Natural Offset Farming at Bayer’s Better Life Farming Center in Satara, India and decided to expand the trials with them. Israel Innovation Authority רשות החדשנות awarded NOF funding to further try and develop their patented advance cooling technology. NOF – Natural Offset Farming is an Israeli start-up that developed advanced cooling technology and demonstrated agronomic and financial viability to small farmer holders in India. With Bayer | Crop Science the in-field pre-treatment was applied to cucumbers and Okra. Agri-Impact is a Bayer and Tel Aviv University joint project, supported by the Israel Innovation Authority and Fooksman Family Foundation, offering Ag-Innovation companies an opportunity to scale their impact and grow their business in India - one of the fastest growing economies in the world.
