My kindergarten teacher said that I would not amount to anything. I am happy that I did not find this out until many years later, and am grateful to my parents for not sharing this, as I do not think this is necessarily a helpful message. Later on, I had some truly incredible and amazing teachers and I remember many of them, extremely fondly and I am so grateful for them. My Kinder teacher? Not so much. The truth is, we do not always have control of who we have in our lives. As we say in my family, you can choose to be a light, and bringing people up and helping them in the world. Or, you can be a cloud that is bringing darkness to others. I also feel for some of the people who are that cloud, as I do not know what they may be going through. I will end it with this, if you have had people ever in your life who have made you feel doubt or less than. Realize that there are more people out in the world who want the best for you and for your to be a massive success. So, if you are seeing this message….I believe in you and I want the very best for you. I also know that I am not the only one who wants this for you, most importantly the person who can and should most beleieve in you, is you.

Hot Job Alert!!! The Westin La Paloma Resort & Spa! This hotel is breathtaking, and has also recently completed a major renovation. Amaze Insights and HM Alpha Hotels & Resorts have extended our partnership, and this is really great news for more reasons than I can count....but I will still give it a shot! 1. MaryGrace McCaffrey - EVP of Commercial is a truly amazing and exceptional person. It is not just the work that she does in our industry, which is indeed above and beyond. It is the fact that she is also so giving with her time and really does make the world a better place. She not only is an icon here in hospitality, she also volunteers with special needs children. If you have not spent time with her, and are in the space....you need to find a way to do so. You will not be disappointed. Also, she is one of the many examples of the awesome team that HM Alpha Hotels & Resorts has. Across the board, they are fantastic. 2. The properties - They have such a great portfolio of hotels. I could do a post about each and every one (and probably should). However, I will highlight the Grand Hyatt Nashville....since I was able to experience it first hand at the Hotel Data Conference (HDC) and the property is beautiful, exceptionally well maintained and most importantly has a service level that is nothing short of excellent. 3. The future - We are very fortunate to have such a fantastic group of customers and HM Alpha is a great example of this. Companies that are making a huge impact, and doing things in the right way are exactly who we love to work with. We know that by working with amazing people and companies who are willing to share with us how to get better, and having a willingness on our side to not only take this feedback, but action it....will make us all better. What more could we ask to have in front of us. Feeling massively grateful to get to work with such great people!

Ace Hotel / Atelier Ace and Amaze Insights are ready to do big things together!! Here is what they say about themselves: "Each hotel is globally minded but locally focused, paying tribute to the places and communities that brings them to life." Here is what I have to say about them: What a truly fantastic team of great people and epic and amazing hotels! I have not gotten a chance to stay in the Athens hotel (YET!), however, it is on my list for sure. The clean lines and look and feel are so tempting to me. Michael Albert is an extremely great and well respected leader in our space. I first met Michael through BITAC Events, and have thought extremely highly of him ever since then. He was the first person from Ace Hotels that I met, and I really have been blown away by his knowledge and understanding of what it takes to be successful in the hospitality space. Yadira Martinez was the next person from Ace who I met, and yet again, I was blown away. The funny part, this wound up being true of the rest of the people who I met as well. The consistent thread was, these were all people who are extremely good at what they do......and they are also people that you really just want to be around and get to know. With this in mind, I can't wait for the Amaze team to be spending more time with the Ace Hotels team.....and we will be doing exactly that as we roll out Amaze Insights for their portfolio of awesome hotels!

Want to know how to greatly increase your likelihood of hitting your goals? Find as many ways as possible to help as many other people as possible accomplish their goals. Do this without thought of anything in return or how it impacts your own outcomes. The better you get at doing this.....the easier it becomes to accomplish whatever you set out to do. You will also find that you have a massive network of support helping you get where you need to be.

"A Beacon of Industry Excellence" This is such a great line, and I am not afraid to admit that I brought it from the Schulte Hospitality Group website, and the reason for doing this, as it really is a perfect description of who the company is. A huge thank you to Susan Vallor who really was the leader on the Amaze Insights side (with a major special thanks to our amazing CEO Jaime Job). However, the even larger thank you really needs to go to the Schulte team, as they are so amazing to work with and we are so excited to be partnering with them. I know the company is so well respected and has a great reputation, and it is not the least bit surprising that this is the case. Getting to see up front what excellent talent the company has, and how they are investing in the team to ensure they have the right tools to accomplish their goals is quite honestly inspiring. Nathan Kauffman, jason peoples and really the whole team could not be better to work with. I know that this is a company that is already doing very well, however, I can't wait to see what they will be able to do in 2025 (and beyond)......and the entire Amaze Insights team could not be more excited to be a part of it!

What awesome news! Dawn Gallagher has been named one of HOTEL MANAGEMENT Magazine's 2024 Influential women in hospitality!
