I agree that building a PERSONAL + PROFESSIONAL brand is crucial to create social capital. This is especially hard for first-gen Latinos to do because we are inherently taught to be humble & work hard with our heads down.

Agree. But I would argue that performance matters much more than brand. Brand follows performance, not the other way around.
