My dad first came to this great country from Jodhpur, India in 1968. He borrowed $1k from his uncle for the trip and got a full scholarship for a Masters in Mechanical Engineering from Marquette University. He got an arranged marriage with my mom in 1972 and they both came to live together in Wisconsin, strange people in a strange land. They moved to Iowa to work for John Deere where my sister and I were born and started their own business. I was lucky to watch their business grow first hand and that inspired me to become a 5x founder myself- and invest in hundreds. Today I'm lucky to work with the best founders every day, and I can report that this American Dream that's rooted in my family's story-- and millions of other families here-- is as is as strong as ever. Thank you, and happy birthday America ❤️🇺🇸 https://lnkd.in/eUUUMzGa
