Unpopular opinion: @Microsoft R&D should be working on a replacement Azure II without Active Directory and a security infrastructure built from scratch for cloud services, also built from scratch. As this is happening, every product like SQL Server should be restructured for the new cloud platform. Just my two cents. I've had this discussion with MANY vendors, all of whom are on the fence. They make money on the complexity of networking within Azure but would also love to see it modernized.

I used to have an affinity for a particular cloud and I hear folks mention affinities for clouds and really I don't think any of it matters too much, but this is weak af: "Error: - the provided ssh-ed25519 SSH key is not supported. Only RSA SSH keys are supported by Azure"

Amazon VPC can be referred to as the private cloud inside the cloud. It is a logical grouping of servers in a specified network. The servers that you are going to deploy in the Virtual Private Cloud(VPC) will be completely isolated from the other servers that are deployed in the Amazon Web Services. You can have complete control of the IP address to the virtual machines and route tables and gateways to the VPC.
