The Texas Women's Foundation Leadership Forum & Awards Celebration knows how to serve up information and inspiration! Moderating a session on the power of representation with the remarkable Adeeba Raheem, A.M.ASCE, OSHA MT was one of the highlights. Her wise remarks on lifting each other up in our personal and professional lives was a perfect example of how women can empower other women. And of course, the amazing Cynt Marshall fireside chat with Deborah Roberts of ABC 20/20 was absolutely magical – they showed us how to “own it,” taught us new vocabulary – HUSA!!!! (iykyk), and truly honored the impact of teachers in the world. This year’s class of Maura Award honorees and Young Leaders also filled me with awe at how they are changing the world by helping women. It was truly special to share this experience with my daughter, Amanda Humrichouse who was also present with me when I received by own Maura award many years ago. I am so honored to be part of this incredible legacy. Surrounded by incredible women who support and uplift each other, I left feeling more inspired than ever. Here’s to strong women everywhere: may we know them, may we be them, may we raise them! #WomenEmpoweringWomen #Leadership #TexasWomensFoundation
