It will be interesting to see if and how incoming #EUHTA #HTA Joint Clinical Assessment #JCA may reflect a similar, relatively simple assessment of quality of data submitted for evaluation. Also, how it will be publicised and presented, and whether broader awareness might shift the needle towards more, and more pragmatic but informative, data generation. Speaking as an #clinicaltrial #clinicaltrialist who sees many trials which seem attractive to enrol participants into, but comparators, endpoints and data collection plan already signal that they are primarily designed for #FDA regulatory approval, not #HTA assessment.

Head of Digital Sovreignty and Sobriety at IMT, French Ministry Scientific Advisor, Full Professor, Scientist and Innovator
Thomas Orazio from the coordination of the French National Strategy on 5G/6G and future networks and myself were delighted to participate today at the Member state panel on future networks intitiaves organised by RESTART program; the italian initiative on future networks. Good alignment on the potential synergies between the MS initiatives and the european JU SNS for future networks. A strong point on the need for secure and environment and societal friendly networks. Thanks to our Coleagues from Restart for the invitation and the dissemination of the italian RESTART program and the initiation of synergies on different potential 6G research technologies, applications discussed during the panel between the national initiaves; Italy, Netherland, Finland, Ireland, France, Germany, Spain. Different levels of synergies are ongoing at the policy making levels, but also at the scientific and expert level and in different technical working groups as in 6G-IA, or standardisation bodies as 3GPP, ITU, ETSI where also academic are active and involved with industrials. Another level of synergy would be also the education level with the need to connect more the industrial needs in future networks competences soft and hard skills to the education institutions as Presented by RESTART. In France, Institut Mines Telecom and the network of engineering schools with the strong link with the industry is preparing the future competencies required by the future networks industry in addition to the active research and innovation. https://lnkd.in/g_Sez5XD
