Trumpet[6] and recorder, oboe, and violin are included in the solo group (Concertino), and the ensemble group (Ripieno) is composed of the current five parts and the whole bass composition (the trumpet is omitted from the second movement). The movement composition is a typical three-movement movement, which is fast-slow-fast. Unlike No. 1, which shows a somewhat loose counterpoint skill, here and there, a complex fugue, which is considered an essential element of Bach's music, is presented here and there. The role of the solo group is also much more colorful and colorful than that of No. 1, which is suitable for competitively showing the competence of soloists.
"See the Bedouin fires at night
See the oil fields at first light
And see the bird with a leaf in her mouth
After the flood all the colors came out
It's a beautiful day...."
- U2 uber-rock-star singer Bono
The last time uber-popular Irish rock band U2 performed was in 2019. U2 is known for their stunning use of technology in live concerts that makes them such a unique experience. Therefore, it is very fitting that they were the first to perform in The Sphere in Vegas.
In case you haven't heard, The Sphere is the world’s largest high-tech concert venue aimed at delivering an immersive concert experience with a capacity of 18,600 seats and took $2.3 Billion to build. The entire surface of its inside is a giant hi-def screen measuring 3.7 acres. The screen boasts 16K video with 16,000dpi, 60 frames/sec wraparound LED screen and a 167,000-speaker array, and features spatial audio beam-forming and wave field synthesis. The haptic seats are able to provide vibration and motion effects. And they move 200-300 Gigabytes of video data every minute. But who can help them move all this data most effectively and with least drama?
Stefan “Smasher” Desmedt, technical director and video director for U2, says: “This is a whole new level of rock and roll. In the past, we used 4K video – this is uncharted territory. We needed to find a storage server technology partner that could meet both the band’s vision and the production’s extreme scale and performance requirements and deliver flawlessly in real time. WEKA quickly became the clear choice.”
That's right. U2 looked far and wide and the choice became quickly clear. WEKA is the fastest and most scalable data platform. Simple, no-frills, no drama.
Just ask U2. They're rocking Vegas right now enabled by WEKA technology.
