Hitting sustainability goals is a challenge for any organization. When your business is the world’s most popular motorsport, which throughout the year races 20 insanely quick cars around 24 circuits as far afield as Azerbaijan and Australia, that challenge is immeasurably harder. So for Formula 1®, it was a huge step forward when they decided to centralize all media operations in one place: Biggin Hill. #WeAreLenovo #Lenovo #F1

Here it is, the opening season of the UCI MTB Downhill World Series in Fort William. Already it's starting with a lot of new race tech in pits of the various teams. The Speedsuit from Fox Racing, the Pademelon Steering Damper, Flight Atttendant Electronic Suspension tuning from SRAM, LLC. Almost all bike brands are jumping on some form of high pivot set up. Carbon bonded prototype bikes from Pivot Cycles and Specialized Bicycle Components are the eye catching bits. Question is will all this race tech be transferred to consumer products like the production bikes, cycling wear, and mainstream aftermarket component and accessories? A lot are left to be seen but is the regulatory body going to come out with rules and regulations like what the Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile have on different class of racing from Formula 1, FIA World Rally Championship and so forth? In essence, development of race tech will definitely be an exciting thing for brands and that how we can datas to build bikes with the right geometry, the right tyre pressure, etc. Exciting times! #UCIMTBDH #FortWilliam #racetech #MTBracing

🚵♂️ Conquering the Toughest Mountain Bike Track: Red Bull Hardline 2024 🚵♂️ Have you ever watched a downhill mountain bike race? It’s like witnessing a symphony of adrenaline, precision, and pure courage. ☝ Picture this: riders hurtling down super hard slopes, navigating rock gardens, drops, and jumps with the finesse of ballet dancers. Their bikes become extensions of their bodies, and every twist and turn is a high-stakes gamble🎢. A few days ago the Red Bull Hardline race took place in an amazing Welsh mountainside - The track, which is considered as one of the toughest downhill mountain bike races in the world. Now, let’s shift gears from the Welsh mountainside to the boardroom 💼. Business, like mountain biking, demands focus, resilience, and the ability to adapt to changing terrain. Here’s where I see the parallel inspiration in our professional lives: ▶ Fearless Commitment: Fear of failure can paralyze us, but the Hardline riders remind us that calculated risks are essential for growth. ▶ Precision Matters: A slight miscalculation on the track can lead to disaster. In business, attention to detail is equally critical. ▶ Adaptability: The Hardline course changes every year, challenging riders to adapt. Same with business and in life. Staying agile and open to new strategies ensures we stay ahead of the curve. ▶ Mindfulness: On that mountain, there’s no room for distractions. Riders are fully present, focused on the next obstacle. Being in the moment—enhances decision-making and reduces stress. ▶ Teamwork: Behind every rider is a team—mechanics, coaches, and fellow riders. In business, this is our secret weapon. Together with team, we conquer the toughest trails 😉 . So, next time we’re navigating our business challenges, lets channel our inner Hardline champion 😎 . Success isn’t about avoiding obstacles; it’s about conquering them with style. 🏆🔥 Enjoy watching the amazing winning ride. 2,5 min. of pure adrenaline. Andrea Cappai's Vision: Elevating the Superbike Ladies League In the ever-evolving world of motorcycle racing, Andrea Cappai has set a groundbreaking rule: within the next 10 years, all circuits hosting the Superbike Ladies League must meet FIM (Fédération Internationale de Motocyclisme) Grade A standards. This mandate, effective from the inaugural event, aims to ensure maximum safety and allows local administrators ample time to upgrade their facilities to meet FIM safety parameters. The Superbike Ladies League is committed to rejuvenating historic circuits that have been sidelined by other motorcycle competitions. By modernizing or refurbishing venues like Magione, Murano Po', Pannonia Ring, and the old section of Hockenheim Ring, the league pays tribute to their legacy in racing history. Andrea Cappai 's dedication extends further, with plans to transform old airports and racetracks into Grade A autodromes. This initiative will not only reclaim and rehabilitate forgotten areas but also create job opportunities for local communities. The sporting regulations, currently nearing completion, mirror this forward-thinking approach, ensuring that the Superbike Ladies League stands for excellence and innovation. Through this endeavor, Cappai champions not just the sport but also social sustainability, proving that motorcycle racing can drive positive change. #SuperbikeLadiesLeague #Innovation #Safety
