Today, a simple conversation triggered something very old. I had not felt that bad in years. There was no objective reason for it. But what we feel is always right and legitimate for the simple reason that we feel it, so: 1. I identified that an old wound had been ripped open. I named it and wrote it down on paper. I remembered all the times in my life I had felt like this. I went back to the root of it. I didn't discover anything new there but I knew that doing this once more was part of the process that would eventually bring me back to my senses and my happiness. 2. I acknowledged I was feeling terrible. I accepted that the despair was lasting longer and longer, and that I couldn’t seem to find my way out of it. 3. I allowed time and space for the inner devastation to lessen a bit and when I felt strong enough on my legs, I went for a walk. 4. I walked and walked, talking to myself aloud with the clear intention of being my best friend and helping myself out of this sick feeling. (Just put your headphones on and you will look like everyone else on the street even though you are talking to yourself.) 5. As I walked and talked, I started sorting things out and feeling better. I didn’t rush anything. I did a bit of energetic cleansing too. 6. I went back home and had a wonderful evening. Recap: 1. Identify the real trigger: 99% of the time it lies in the past. 2. Approve what you are feeling: always validate first, work on it later. 3. Create time and space in your body for whatever is present within you. 4. Walk and talk out loud: moving the body moves the energy and supports the flow of thoughts that will disentangle the situation. 5. Take all the time you need. Feel what to do next, don’t think it. 6. Once you feel the release, trust it and allow the life force to run freely through you again and bring you good experiences. #panic #lifecoaching #personaldevelopment #personalgrowth #emotionalintelligence #emotions #anxiety
