3rd Death Anniversary of My Respected Father... Dear Papa, It is not easy for me to live a good life without you. Whenever I face any issue, I immediately think of how your presence would have made it easier to solve. You are my superhero, and your positive thinking and physical strength during your ten years living with paralysis were not easy feats for any human. When I fall sick or get injured, I think of the pain you endured during those ten years, and I realize that my health issues are not as significant. This realization motivates me to overcome my challenges and go to work, carrying on with my regular job. I have learned that the best things in life are humanity and compassion. I always try to help those in need and spread happiness to those around me. Now, I have started my own digital marketing agency, following in the footsteps of your shopkeeping business. I am determined to succeed and prove that my father is the best, always supporting me through my failures and successes. Life without a father is not easy. When I see my son turning six, I realize how tough it must have been for you to dedicate 33 years of your life to building my future. You gave me everything that brings happiness into my life. If you were here today, I would proudly take you to my office and show you my success. I would tell you that it all began with the computer you gifted me in 2008, with its 512 MB RAM and 80 GB hard disk. These 16 years of professional journey have not been easy, and the last three years without you have been the toughest. Now, I understand how to live the best life in this competitive market, always thinking of your positive thoughts and the struggles you faced, which inspire me to be the best human being I can be. One day, I will prove that I am the son of Govind Seth and succeed in business, just like the way everyone used to praise you for managing the best shop in our small village. 🐾 Grateful Lessons from Poochacho 🐾 As many of you know, our beloved furry friend Poochacho (aka Ranger) has been experiencing some challenges lately. He's been dealing with lameness caused by two herniated discs, and the journey to help him heal has been both emotional and enlightening.   Recently, Poochacho underwent an MRI, a procedure that came with a hefty price tag. Yet, despite the financial strain, we're immensely grateful for the opportunity to provide him with the care he needs. It's a reminder of the unconditional love and companionship our pets offer us every day.   Through Poochacho's journey, I've been reminded of some invaluable lessons: --Gratitude in Adversity: Despite the challenges, we're grateful for every moment we share with our furry friend. His resilience and spirit inspire us to find gratitude in the midst of adversity. --Prioritizing Well-being: Poochacho's well-being is our top priority, reminding us of the importance of taking care of those we love, whether they have two legs or four. --Community Support: The outpouring of support and love from friends, family, and even strangers has been overwhelming. Family. Last month, I shared a post about spending time with my aging mom and how our limited time left is precious. Many people liked and shared their experiences with an aging parent or a lost mom or dad. Interestingly, that post had more engagement than anything I've written in the last three months since returning to my CEO job. At a recent lunch, a fellow marketer said, "Saw your nice post, but maybe you should stay in your lane - you have unique experiences in entrepreneurship, growth, sales, and marketing. That's where you'll get more traction - especially on LinkedIn." I laughed and replied, "Some days I am those things, but every day I am a human being."    And being a human being on LinkedIn keeps it real. Families keep it real too. Recently, I hosted my family to celebrate my mom and dad's 62nd wedding anniversary. It occurred to me that family is the biggest thing in your life that you have no choice. None. You get who you get. And family, like any relationship is not easy and there are seasons. Some families have fractured relationships or no relationship at all. I now have enough wisdom (and grey hair) to understand families take work - sacrifice, effort, empathy, patience, understanding, acceptance, boundaries, and so much more. Today, my family is in a good season and I am forever grateful for my OG five. Like time, they are precious. Celebrating my 43rd birthday today with a 43-minute non-stop circuit 🥳 Here are ten rules I live by to help me get the best out of my life so when I’m 80 years old, I look back with pride... 1 - The perfect choice does not exist 2 - Continue to try to be the best version of myself so I can give better energy to my family and my business. 3 - Always be proud of my children, my wife and any of my family in the choices they make in life and give them my full support 4 - I don’t want to be on my deathbed, looking in the mirror and saying “I wished I had taken those action steps which I know would have taken me to live a better quality of life.” 5 - The truth in life is that we’ll all make choices we end up regretting. It’s called failure, and failure can be a good thing because it teaches us how to improve. However, as we grow older, our goal should be to minimise the number of failures that lead to regret. 6 - Always look at the long-term consequences if I don’t follow through with anything... as this is going to be a lot more painful than the short-term pain of it might not be working 7 - Trust myself more with my choices because if I don’t, “Nothing Changes and if nothing changes, the unhappiness from not doing anything about it is going to be hugely more than the fear of not doing something when feeling uncertain 8 - No matter how successful I become, what I will always end up caring about the most, in hindsight, isn’t the number of pounds in my bank account but it’s the choices I made to get where I am. 9- In the end, we are made up of our choices. “I want to build a great story for me and my family” 10 - Don’t be a Dick head and don’t let the dick heads get Inside my mind to drain my energy Have a great day all, and do what you got to do to keep smiling

We bid farewell to one of our long-time outstanding team members, Brenda Phillips, as she retires after 34 years with our company. Before she moves into retirement we took time out to learn a little about her and who has positively impacted her professional and personal life. 1. What would be your death row meal? There are so many things I love. Probably a nice juicy steak, topped with mushrooms and onions, sauteed in butter, loaded baked potato and salad w/ ranch dressing. For dessert, a sliver of carrot cake and a sliver of chocolate cake. 2. What could you make a Ted Talk about with little time to prepare? Game shows. I love them. Ask me the host or the game rules or even some of the contestants, and I could talk forever. Jeopardy is my fave. 3. If you could get an answer to a mystery (i.e., Bermuda Triangle, Amelia Earheart ), what would it be? Where is my husband Clark’s good watch? It disappeared when we moved, and he thinks I trashed it. I promise I didn’t. 4. Who has had the most positive impact on your life? There have been so many. My parents probably first and foremost. They were young parents, with six kids, who were strict, but still loving. We always had what we needed, but never too much. My dad was in the military and my mom maintained our household. We had trials and tragedies but were always able to move forward with love and gratitude. Secondly, I would have to say Rick, David, and Steve here at Hoidale. These guys cleared the path for this journey I’ve been on for the last 34 years. They are three very different personalities, each with fantastic skillsets. And lastly, I can’t leave Clark out. He’s the most patient man alive to have put up with me for all these years. He has insights and goals and dreams and ideas, and there’s nobody he would rather share them with than me.
