What do almost all of the biggest non-league transfers have in common? The surface level observation would be Ben Krauhaus (Brentford Football Club), Josh Stokes (Bristol City Football Club), Kellen Fisher (Norwich City Football Club), Tyrell Sellars-Fleming (Hull City) and Fletcher Holman (Wolves) were all signed from the National League Premier and North/South… If you look a little deeper, they all spent time in the lower steps of the non-leagues at clubs within Steps 3-5 of the pyramid...playing hundreds or, in some cases, thousands of first-team minutes to aid their development. This was when they were relatively unknown and the bidding war could've been avoided... Ben Krauhaus (Cray Wanderers - Step 3) Josh Stokes (AFC Sudbury - Step 4) Kellen Fisher (Cray Wanderers - Step 3) Tyrell Sellars-Fleming (Gainsborough Trinity - Step 3) Fletcher Holman (Eastbourne Town - Step 5) Steps 3-5 is the hot bed of high potential talent, if you have the tools to know where to look. #NLG

Couldn’t agree more. The amount of games I get to within steps 3-5 and you can see clear talent there
