Sometimes I complain that 24 hours is too short and I use this as an excuse whenever I do not complete my tasks for the day, carrying them over to the next day. However, I recently thought about it and decided to try a different approach.
So, last night, I wrote down the list of things I wanted to accomplish today. When I woke up this morning, I reviewed the list and began with the most-important tasks first. After completing those, I proceeded to tackle the less important ones.
Guess what? I managed to complete 98% of my tasks for the day and even had time this evening to reward myself with a delicious plate of food (which I really enjoyed).
In summary, start your day by focusing on the most important activities first, and then address the less important ones. It’s just like putting stones in a bucket before adding sand—you’ll find that 24 hours is actually enough, it depends on how and what you use it for!
