Changing lives in higher education.

After serving as Dean of Students at Eureka College for the past two years, I have started a new professional chapter. First, I would like to extend a special thank you to President Dr. Jamel Wright (an incredible leader and visionary), and the entire campus community, especially my colleagues and students that I partnered with to advance student success and engagement. Serving was an honor and professional and personal privilege. Next, I’m happy to share that I have started as the Inaugural Director of First-Generation Commitment within the College of Literature, Science, and the Arts at the University of Michigan. This newly created role provides an opportunity to design and provide strategic direction for an asset-based initiaitve focused on the student success of First-Generation and historically underserved students attending the University. While I’ll miss Central Illinois, I’m excited for this new chapter and the chance to return to my home state. #GoBlue
