I listened to @Steven Bartlett superb Diary of a CEO podcast with @AdamAlter and they asked the question “Can you teach creativity”. My thoughts below. I wanted to share a creativity-ideas philosophy I have created as it aligns with your conversation with Steven. "Ideas are everywhere, you just need the vision to see them" I have learned in 20 years leading teams anyone can learn to be creative by doing what a camera lens does. Most people walk through life with a narrow focus in their area of interest-expertise ;however, if you can open your aperture and start noticing ideas in your peripheral vision that is when you start generating ideas-concepts that put you ahead of your competition. https://lnkd.in/eu-pN4pW

Thanks, Hadi Radwan for having me on the “First 100 Podcast” to share our KASKO story! ➡ For those of you who are less familiar with our origin story, here comes a short recap: KASKO is an insurance technology company founded in 2015, offering "InsurTech as a Service"; and specialised in working with insurers, MGAs, and large brands to design, distribute, and run digital insurance products for any distribution channel within very short development timeframes. 🎙 In the conversation with Hadi, I share insight about: 1) What idea we founded KASKO on, and how the business model has evolved opportunity-driven and very close to our customer needs since we started in 2015 2) The problem most insurers and MGAs faced back then and some still face today 3) Why do we find it more useful to sell use-cases(or solutions)  and not “products” and have a development close to our customers’ and partners’ needs? 4) Our core business model, how the “InsurTech as a Service” idea came to life and how our core came from making it easy to design new products. 5) Why opportunity-based business model developments and networking are key to staying ahead of the competition and ready to help with any new customer inquiries. 6) How we narrowed down the right target audience for our product and service offering. 7) How we deal with, and handle comparable longer sales cycles in the insurance/tech scene, potential tough times and what’s next for KASKO. 🎧 The links to the podcast episode (Apple and Spotify) are shared in the original post below!
