DFDS reported solid results for 2023 despite challenging freight markets: - EBITDA of DKK 5.0bn in line with our Win23 strategy - Revenue increase of 2% to DKK 27.3bn - 5% lower ferry emission intensity 🚢 - 90 electric trucks deployed by end of year – today we are at 95 🚛🔋 We have also successfully concluded our Win23 strategy. Over the last five years we've expanded and strengthened our network, added new capabilities, improved customer offerings, and increased our presence in high-growth markets. TRATON Supplier Day for strong partnerships: On 9th November, the first TRATON Supplier Day, jointly hosted by our four brand CPOs Murat Aksel (CPO TRATON SE, CPO MAN Truck & Bus SE]), John van Rossum (CPO Scania Group), Peter Friberg (CPO Navistar Inc) and Evandro Pretel (CPO Volkswagen Caminhões e Ônibus), took place at the MAN Truck Forum in Munich. 230 main suppliers of the #TRATONGROUP, took the opportunity to talk to TRATON experts and executives and learn more about TRATON and our road ahead. Christian Levin (CEO TRATON and Scania Group), Alexander Vlaskamp (CEO MAN SE), Niklas Klingenberg (Head of Group R&D TRATON and Acting CTO Scania Group), Mathias Carlbaum (President & CEO Navistar Inc), and Dr. h. c. Antonio Roberto Cortes (President & CEO of Volkswagen Caminhões e Ônibus) not only presented our TRATON Way Forward strategy, but also gave insights on the values and working methods in the Group in keynote speeches. At #TRATON, our aim is to #TransformTransportationTogether. Our path is clearly defined. It leads from joint processes to joint project sourcing to a common modular system. We held an excellent town hall today for Körber Supply Chain Parcel North America. Our CEO Ananta Islam outlined our Northstar and the associated strategy to achieve it. We introduced our new Chief Sales Officer Lucas Watson and heard his initial impressions. Creighton Trull shared our approach to expanding our integration business, while Abu Kibria discussed our strategy to double our service business. Samantha Wommack emphasized the importance of becoming more customer-centric and agile. The town hall concluded with Hamid Salemizadeh highlighting our successful initiatives in the mail business and how structure ourselves to be even more successful in the future. Following the town hall, there were multiple roundtable sessions with our CEO Ananta Islam, allowing employees to meet him in person and discuss their concerns. Red Sofa Interview: Leonardo Martins, global logistics director at Bocar Group spoke to Automotive Logistics' editor-in-chief Christopher Ludwig about Bocar's decades-long foothold in the country, and how the company is focused on strengthening its suppliers. Martins highlighted the growing presence of competitive Chinese #carmakers in #Mexico at Automotive Logistics & Supply Chain Mexico 2023, and said Bocar is "fighting back with efficiency, quality, guaranteed relationships and trust". He said Bocar is investing a lot of money, time, effort and training intro strengthening its partnerships, and is using tools like #digitalisation and #upskilling the workforce to make the Mexican logistics industry more attractive and competitive.
