People always ask me: "is it best to repurpose or to recycle a battery?" Truth is, the answer is both. All batteries should eventually be recycled , but if a battery can be reused in a vehicle or repurposed into a second-life application before recycling, that's even better. However, used batteries that have been seriously damaged and impose a safety risk should be sent straight for recycling. It isn't a one size fits all answer. That's why it's so important to do testing.
