How does a 17% increase in co-payment collections sound? One Midwestern multispecialty medical group on Oracle Health CommunityWorks achieved this by optimizing its appointment registration workflow and allowing patients to make their co-pay. When appointment reminders are sent, patients can use Apple Pay, Google Pay, HSA, FSA, or their preferred credit card to make co-payments before their visit. It's one less step for patients and staff to complete at the front desk. It might sound simple, but improving patient and staff experiences does not always require complex changes. 1. Start with a desired end state (reduce manual work for co-pay collection) 2. Align it with the right KPIs (increased upfront payment collections, reduced check-in time per patient) 3.
