ION Storage Systems is collaborating with world-class partners on a $40 million commercialization initiative! We are pleased to announce that ION will be receiving $20 million in funding as part of a three-year, $40 million commercialization initiative thanks to the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE)'s ARPA-E SCALEUP program and several world-class commercialization partners. We are eager to work with industry leaders, like KLA, a leader in high precision process and quality control systems and Saint-Gobain, one of the world’s largest ceramics, glass and material suppliers, to accelerate a path to large-scale commercial deployment of our solid-state batteries (SSB). ION’s collaboration with this all-star team provides a path forward toward commercializing cleaner, more powerful and groundbreaking SSB technology. The ARPA-E SCALEUP program has long recognized, championed, and advanced technologies that transform how we live, work, and communicate. ION is thrilled to be selected for the SCALEUP award and we welcome our ongoing collaboration with the DOE. #IonStorageSystems #BetterBatteries #Investment #DOE #SCALEUP #EVs #Electricvehicles https://lnkd.in/eCkA_-bJ
