Yesterday the Insight Global DC office came together for an afternoon of Kickball as part of IG's Field Day in support of our charity partner, One World Health. Since becoming partners with OWH in 2020, we have contributed over $3.5 million to support life saving care. We have proudly opened 9 medical "Grit" clinics from Central America to East Africa where over 140,000 patients have received care through our joint efforts. Why Field Day Matters: OneWorld Health is dedicated to establishing permanent, sustainable healthcare solutions in underserved regions across Uganda, Honduras, and Nicaragua. Every dollar raised during Field Day contributes to this vital mission. Our objective? To build 10 clinics by 2025, providing essential care to those who need it most. Field Day 2024 Impact Recap: $140,000+ raised! Employees across the world participated in various activities, all aimed at making a difference Relay for OWH: Nearly 400 employees covered a total of 3,100 miles—representing the distance an average patient travels to reach an OWH clinic. Global Engagement: Offices across the U.S., U.K., Canada, India, and the Philippines participated. At Teva, we understand everyday care for patients not only as providing them with high-quality medicines, but also caring for the safety and well-being of patients and providing them with support. For several years, Teva has been organizing a competition called Humanizing Health in many countries, and its Polish edition is now starting - Let's treat with care! The title of the competition speaks for itself - we would like to appreciate the support offered to patients in the difficult process of illness and recovery. We know that commitment and empathy can have a therapeutic effect, which is why we want to remind about this and reward organizations that provide care to patients and their loved ones. 💚 Competition Let's treat with care! is addressed to non-profit organizations, foundations and associations. We are waiting until September 15 for their applications, presenting a project implemented from the beginning of 2023 to mid-May 2024. The winners, i.e. creators of initiatives that bring hope, optimism and comfort to patients, will receive grants for their further activities.
