On November 12th, during the Taiwan Nuclear Medicine Society Annual Conference, several senior colleagues suggested introducing a topic on PET-MR, a subject still relatively unfamiliar since its emergence in 2010. Later, in discussion with junior peers, we focused on cardiac quantitative analysis in nuclear medicine, so, I decided to create a discussion series on the application of PET-MR in cardiac examinations. 📊 MEDIRAD survey update! In February 2022, the European-funded MEDIRAD project concluded, aiming to enhance the scientific basis and clinical practice of radiation protection in medicine. The project focused on understanding the health effects of low-dose ionising radiation from diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. As part of MEDIRAD, a large survey was conducted in 2019 to gather information on the use of multimodality imaging in nuclear medicine. Now, a follow-up survey has been developed to detect changes in the use of CT in nuclear medicine between 2019 and 2024. Autoantibodies Against Nuclear Membrane (AC-11 / AC-12) On HEp-2 cells: The interphase cells show a homogeneous fluorescence of the cell nuclei, with the rims of the nuclei accentuated. The chromosomes of mitotic cells are dark. On tissue sections of primate liver: A characteristic linear fluorescence of the nuclear membrane can be seen. Shown very clear double layer member. Known Target Antigens: (gp210, lamin A, lamin B and C, and lamin B receptor) Clinical association: Antibodies against nuclear membrane occur in primary biliary cholangitis (PBC). EUROIMMUN
