#CEBioForum2024 conference started today in Warsaw. This anual event gathers a majority of movers and shakers from the Polish and also Central European biotech field. Today's topics included, among others, the impact of cell and gene therapy on the market and patients , tips on how to enter the US market and proper preparation for clinical trials. Apart from that there were some interesting company'a presentations, such as from Indica Labs or SyVento BioTech. As always I had a pleasure to represent POLSERVICE Patent and Trademark Attorneys Office. It's fascinating to watch this sector grow and flourish! Lesch, Andy Reniers, and Antonio Salgado-Somoza, PhD will discuss upstream process (USP) development strategies that were used to define the most suitable initial material - such as cell line, plasmid DNA, and enzymatic DNA - that led Exothera to achieve a significant increase in post-harvesting titer. They will also present some key analytical assay optimizations that allowed Exothera to address matrix effect and assay related degradation, and to develop robust analytical protocols for physical titer and empty/full ratio determination.
