Office of Nuclear Energy, U.S. Department of Energy reposted this
This MOU represents a positive step forward by formalizing our collaboration for the management of spent nuclear fuel. I look forward to the next 5 years.
EPRI is pleased to announce a five-year Memorandum of Understanding with the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) focused on cooperative research for the management of used #NuclearFuel, including its storage and transport. The scope of the research will include used nuclear fuel from existing reactors and potential future used fuel from advanced reactors. Paul Murray, DOE’s Deputy Assistant Secretary for Spent Fuel and High-Level Waste Disposition and EPRI’s Joseph Faldowski, PMP, Senior Program Manager, Fuel & Chemistry, signed the agreement earlier this week while participating in a DOE-hosted nuclear industry meeting. 1moFantastic, they leave it to those who gave consent. The area..weird they didn't make that consent proposal in NY. Or to other urbanized cities. Only to the most vulnerable If there was no solution. Well it will be something temporary But Permanent Safe Confinement is a reality France approved by President Chirac 1997 ANDRA And also diluted without limits of state and volume Without containers that are removed (stolen) without danger to intimidation [email protected]
