How do you hold a ton of coal in your fingertips 🤏? Replace it with a uranium fuel pellet. It yields the same amount of energy as 17,000 cubic feet of natural gas, 149 gallons of oil or 1 ton of coal!

It’s sad that the Australian Labor government disagrees with this, they are anti nuclear because it’s very expensive and it’s not a safe energy solution because of the three eye fish problem, and uranium mining had been banned in five states so they don’t really want to get to net zero because you need nuclear to get to net zero.

That's awesome ! What is projection for when I can build that 50MW generator for $50M and run it at $0.06 per kW-hr? AI said I need one of these: ." The French Rubis-class submarines have a 48 MW reactor that needs no refueling for 30 years"

Energy density matters. Safe, secure and fully tracked from mine to final disposal.

This and hydrogen power are going to be monumental to improving energy efficiency, especially in the data center world!

Nuclear fuel is incredibly energy dense. Visualizing a 1 inch uranium pellet versus 2,000 pounds is mind blowing.

Love this tidbit. I have a few other ones I’ve discovered too along these lines ! Uranium is such an amazing fuel for the future and we are rich in this resource here in USA

»» Thinking of what I have said for sohhhhh long : If Carbon Dioxide was that bad, why are Nuclear and Hydro producing only 10% of Electricity ?

I remember these simulated fuel pellet placards being given out at the Trojan Nuclear Plant visitor center (~40 years ago).

This is a bit misleading comparison. Uranium pellet used in a nuclear reactor is not found in the nature. We have to compare Uranium ore to other sources (also in raw form). Nuclear is still energy dense, but not as dramatic as shown in the graphic.
