2 different patients with severe lumbar canal stenosis, operated on the same day using 2 different techniques. Uniportal endoscopic interlaminar decompression and biportal Endoscopic Decompression. Both techniques are very powerful but I think the free hand movements with biportal is a big advantage! The ability to use curretes of various sizes is also a big plus for the biportal technique too. Let's talk about blanching!!! Here is it a video that I was asked to share by SIght Sciences. This is a case of a 76 year old patient referred by a colleague with advanced glaucoma (and progressing) on maximal medication, cataract with poor vision and poor ocular surface. In the end, there is a nice example of blanching showing that canaloplasty and trabeculotomy really boost the episcleral drainage!
