In my opinion this won't happen anytime soon. The reason for this is that We still don't fully understand the inner workings of human creativity. What AI is good at now is analyzing sets of data ( amazing at this ), generating images, art ( most of the solutions available are awesome ) , writing text ( looks professional ) . But the way I see it is that first of all - We have AI because We did not have AI, human creativity, ingenuity and knowledge allowed this to happen. And that's also where the gap is - AI can process things fast, well but as some cases shown "without giving it a thought". So my prediction is that in the future the biggest risk will be that AI when fed false information will try to reason based on that false information and will try to come up with a plausible result. And then on the other hand - people - relying too heavily on the power of a CPU might loose the ability to fact check. And if We go to far i.e loosing the skills of math, programming, understanding code - We won't even know how to fix it. So while I do agree that AI will be a big cost savings tool of the future - I also can imagine it bringing some businesses down. Never mentioning that one big solar flare can pause our dreams quite quickly.

Assistant is right replacement not in many years, probably about a decade out.

The modifcation of the Getty images-derived image generation was interesting, using prompts to then manipulate the 3d models via vertices associated with tokens from the prompts after the initial prompt generates a 3d model of the image in the omniverse, ensuring that it retains consistency as you modify it (a problem that ive encountered editing diffusion-based images via prompts once the initial image is generated). I feel like the way it was presented seemed very different to diffusion models and seems like an interesting approach.

I love this concept. I know it seems wild for many, but, I am eager to have an AI I can just speak to randomly all day. My ChatGPT is getting a workout right now! I recently helped someone in humanoid robotics engineering with their resume and WOW that stuff they spoke about made me even more excited! The possibilities are just...WOW!
