For those on my network who have been affected by the Crowdstrike issues. Please see the attached post for a workaround fix (published by Crowdstrike) For those customers who are not Crowdstrike customers and are still affected…. I understand that the same file can be located in Azure. I believe the workaround also works in this case. I will provide further updates on my feed as and when I have more information. #crowdstrike #microsoft

Solution given by Crowdstrike   1.  Boot Windows into Safe Mode or the Windows Recovery Environment   2.  Navigate to the C:\Windows\System32\drivers\CrowdStrike directory   3.  Locate the file matching “C-00000291*.sys”, and delete it.    4.  Boot the host normally.

Workaround for CrowdStrike Issue: Boot Windows into Safe Mode or the Windows Recovery Environment Navigate to the C:\Windows\System32\drivers\CrowdStrike directory Locate the file matching “C-00000291*.sys”, and delete it. Boot the host normally.

CrowdStrike Window Blue screen issue. Boot Windows into Safe Mode or the Windows Recovery Environment Navigate to the C:\Windows\System32\drivers\CrowdStrike directory Zip the CrowdStrike folder and delete the unzip folder then reboot the system. Once the system is up and running you can choose to unzip the folder.

*Windows 10 👨💻** CrowdStrike users advised to use the below Workaround CrowdStrike Engineering has identified a content deployment related to this issue and reverted those changes, but the damage already there, and no boot.
