After ~ 2 amazing years at Deloitte, it is a bittersweet moment for me to share that I am moving onto a new chapter of my professional journey. 8+ engagements, 4 different industries, countless learning and growth opportunities both professionally and personally, and most importantly, relationships that developed into incredible friendships and mentorships. Thank you D. for the many memorable experiences and lessons learned. Just two years ago, I was just as confused as most people and wondered "what is consulting anyways?" As I continue to explore and reflect on my consulting journey, here are a few of my high-level takeaways from my time with the firm: 1. There will always be something you don't know and a load of complex questions you have not solved before. Before diving into delivery, take a moment and ask yourself "Why are we doing this?" "What is the purpose of this work?" "How can I add value and create impact in this process?" 2. Building decks could get tiresome but is absolutely essential for building a good foundation to tell a powerful story. One storyboard at a time, you are creating the building blocks to craft an intuitive and compelling narrative that can drive change in opinions and behaviors 3. Cherish the good people around you, make memories and enjoy the ride! Projects end, but relationships continue While it has been a difficult goodbye, I am looking forward to a new exciting chapter of my career.

🏆 As we turn to the first page of 2024, reflecting on your last year specially what went well and what didn't is crucially important. Here is a picture of me being awarded the Innovation award for the contributions to Learning and Development at EY. Not just this I won 3 different #awards at #EY for my contributions within a month and multiple other at #Deloitte. Here's a little secret: going the extra mile is the key! 🚀 In a world where competition is fierce, it's no longer enough to just meet expectations. But to truly excel, you need to exceed them. 💪 Going the extra mile means putting in that extra effort, taking on additional tasks, and delivering outstanding results. It means staying late when necessary, taking the initiative, and going above and beyond what is asked of you. 🌟 Here's why it matters: 1️⃣ It sets you apart from the crowd: Going above and beyond shows your dedication and passion for your work. It demonstrates that you are willing to put in the extra effort to achieve outstanding results. 2️⃣ It builds your reputation: When you consistently go the extra mile, word gets around. Your colleagues, superiors, and even clients will start to recognize your dedication and commitment to excellence. 3️⃣ It opens doors for growth: By consistently exceeding expectations, you position yourself for new opportunities, promotions, and even awards within your firm. So how can you start going the extra mile? Here are a few tips: - Take on additional responsibilities when possible. - Seek out opportunities to learn and grow. - Volunteer for projects that align with your strengths and interests. - Be proactive and anticipate needs before they arise. - Continuously seek feedback and strive for improvement. Reflecting on over a year in my corporate journey, I'm grateful for the invaluable lessons I learned along the way. Being part of one of the most complex projects at Deloitte USI has been a tremendous learning experience, and I'm excited to share some insights with you all. 1️⃣ Learn to be comfortable while being Uncomfortable: This sounds a bit paradoxical but it is so simple if we accept things and see in such a way that whatever it is, it will pass. 2️⃣ Be empathetic to the client. We feel frustrated when some last-minute changes or additional requirements come. But we need to understand that the other person is only coming with new requests because the business demands it. 3️⃣ Seek help from others. Don't hesitate to reach out when you're unsure – there's always someone willing to lend a hand. 4️⃣ Own the work. Take responsibility and be accountable for the work assigned. 5️⃣ Be good at what you do. Continuous improvement is key – strive for excellence in your craft. 6️⃣ Every day is not the same. Embrace variability, there will be a time when you are required to do more than what you do regularly. Some days in a project will be very hectic unlike others but that phase will also pass and we need to be patience in such a situation. 7️⃣ Always share your thoughts. Prioritize personal well-being by communicating concerns about workload or deadlines with managers – open dialogue is essential. 🌟 Celebrating a Milestone: My First Successful Program at Deloitte! 🌟 I am thrilled to share that I recently concluded the Spark program, an onboarding initiative for Analysts, and it was a fantastic experience! 🎉 Being a part of this program allowed me to learn many new things under the expert guidance of my amazing team members, Pooja Maurya, Manjula Paul, Vidya Ravikumar, Bhaveen Lathia. 🙏 Your support and patience in answering all my questions were invaluable. I was proud to bring a fresh perspective to the program, and it was incredibly rewarding to receive such positive feedback. One compliment that stood out to me was: "This didn't look like your first session at all. You led the session effortlessly, even without practice. We are looking for people like you – you treated it as your own." A huge thank you to Pooja Maurya for believing in me and allowing me to do my best. 🌟 Throughout the course of the program, I gained a deeper understanding of why Deloitte is often called a learning-centered organization. 📚 Here are some key learnings I gained from the Spark program: 1.
