Name of Position: Financial Analyst (Carbon Market Expert)
➢ Qualification:
Master or MBA/M.Sc./M.A./M.Com. or equivalent degree.
➢ Experiences:
8 years’ experience in relevant field
➢ Responsibilities:
• Prepare a high-level assessment of the potential emissions abated and the potential NPV of the
opportunity agreed by stakeholders.
• Prepare a MACC for each case study of the assets and generate a prioritized list of Carbon
Abatement opportunities by identifying potential quick wins/low-hanging fruit results.
• Develop a national MACC and prioritized action plan using best available data on in-country
operational data, surveys and questionnaires, expert knowledge and any other available data
points.
• Synthesizes complex information into clear and concise recommendations and action-oriented
implementation plans.
• Generates innovative, data-driven, and result-oriented solutions to difficult challenges.
• Responds quickly to changing ideas, responsibilities, expectations, trends, strategies, and other
processes.
• Fosters collaboration across multiple constituencies to support more effective decision making.
• Establishes and maintains strong relationships with a diverse array of stakeholders, both inside
and outside of government, and particularly including community-based relationships.
• Embraces differing viewpoints and implements strategies to find common ground for Carbon
Abatement.
• Prepare and overall estimation for potential Carbon Abatement and emission abatement
opportunities.
