Can deepfakes be countered with Zero Trust? Interesting read!

AI COVER UP - When CBS 60-Minute presented so-called Deep Fake technology 3 years ago, all you heard to identify the technology was “This Technology” or “Synthetic Media”. You never heard the word Artificial Intelligence or AI to identify it. You have to wonder why for the dazzling this program seeks to infuse in us, Artificial Intelligence never came out as a boast of this feat of theirs. Of course, it would have been bad press for the Technology to be associated with the potential negative effects coming out of it. Even when AI was released in late 2022 and officially in early 2023, the public still had no clue that Deep Fake was AI. That realization slowly percolated throughout 2023-2024 in the public, by piecing media bits together, but never from the official proponents of AI. https://lnkd.in/e__YsqMk Of course, “This AI Technology” is all baked in deception from core to surface. Earlier in 2019, when 346 peopled died from two Boeing Max 747 crashes between March and December of that year, all your heard from Boeing and fed regulators was that there was a software glitch in the new line of airplanes that caused the accidents, for which they were subsequently grounded. You never heard that Boeing was pursuing a pilot automation program with built-in AI in the navigation system. As a result of the new Administrators throwing AI all over Boeing processes to cut costs left and right and throw palatable dividends to investors. The aim is to pursue fully AI-piloted airplanes (all pilots fired) and a form of “intelligent” maintenance that is going to cut human maintenance costs to the max. “Intelligent maintenance” is how you end up with Doors continuing to get off those planes, apparently with no end in sight. Just a few days ago, JD Vance’s plane was under the same threat in mid-air. Nobody, of course is openly making AI responsible for these serious threats, not even the fed regulators. Now just a few weeks ago, something catastrophic happened with Microsoft systems, from gas stations to airports to banks to hospitals, etc. all over the globe. A two-week long Armageddon. First of all, Microsoft was not responsible. It was all on a software security Co called Crowdstrike. What happened? Crowdstrike was making flawed updates to Microsoft OS all over the world, we were told. The public ignores how tight these processes have become with Kubernetes protocols and that a global outage that kind can never be possible in normal circumstances in this day and age. You don’t have to look far to see how AI is responsible for the entire thing: https://lnkd.in/ekZvWtaC Crowdstrike boasts the use of AI in their deployment processes, means an AI layer on top of Kubernetes. AI was making the deployments! And no one is going to tell that to the public.
