Just have to look at the phenomenon of the Doldrums, (an equatorial region of the Atlantic Ocean with a predominance of calms and light unpredictable winds, or a state of stagnation or depression). I know what I'd rather avoid. Headlong into the storm, far more energy there for leading through adversity. This is important for leadership, there will be adversity and a superlative leader knows how to harness these. Thanks Omar!

1moThese are great strategies to lead through uncertainty. In addition, it's important to acknowledge the emotions and fears that come with uncertainty. Leaders should create a space for team members to express their concerns and provide support. It's also important to be adaptable and willing to pivot when necessary. As the situation evolves, leaders should be open to adjusting their strategies and plans. Finally, leaders should lead by example and prioritize their own self-care to model healthy habits for their team.
