All this is happening as the UN honors "The Butcher of Teheran" who perpetrated, directed, facilitated, funded (among other terror-supporting countries) and supported the terrorist organization Hamas. If nothing else, this is a live testement of the corruptness of this institution. All this is happening as #usefulidiots and #anarchists alike flood the streets of hundreds of Western cities across ALL continents in open calls of terrorism support, as well as the destruction of those same societies they live in - those that accepted them as #asylumseekers and gave them refuge and relief from the (alleged) threats they were facing in their countries of origin. All this is happening while many modern muslims living in the same, currently-free countries, prefer to remain "uninvolved" instead of rising against those who hijacked their religion and are performing unspeakable atrocities in its name. All this is happening while Western governments plant their collective head deep in the sand, wishing for the Islamic storm to pass. That didn't work well for Europe between the 8th and 17th century. We all know that International Women's Day is a time to recognize and celebrate the incredible achievements of women around the world. But it's also more than that. My missus sent me this post from Grazia https://lnkd.in/efJNQW72 highlighting how far we have to go to level the playing field for women, especially women of color.  If you have a moment, stop reading this post and check out the statistics in the Grazia post.  When I chat with people about IWD, I find two camps - people who talk about it being about raising awareness of the gender gap and those who view it more as a celebration of women. Both are important, but if you find yourself in that second group, do the celebration bit and ask yourself what more you can do to foster inclusion.
