A generous donation from Vantage Capital Markets to The Child Development Centre doesn’t just embody the firm’s commitment to social responsibility, diversity and supporting children, it has left a tangible impact on our work. 🌟 🌟The donation ensures that the CDC can sustain and expand our personalised educational programmes, therapy, and assessments all tailored to meet even more children’s unique needs. 🌟With this support, we can maintain our high standards of individualised attention, foster a nurturing environment where children can thrive socially, and we continue our play-centric group programmes. This partnership underscores a shared vision for a more inclusive and supportive community. Imperial College London researchers and the Moderna Charitable Foundation are drawing on the GPI's Parenting in Crisis resources to provide crucial aid to children who have lost caregivers: the COVID-19 pandemic underscored the pressing need for support for the staggering 10.6 million children who endured the loss of their caregivers. Addressing this challenge head-on, the researchers have devised a six-session parenting support program, derived from the Parenting in Crisis resources, for surviving caregivers. https://bit.ly/3YPAP6w #COVID19Parenting #ParentingInCrisis #CaregiverLoss #CovidOrphanhood

We know, that’s shocking. The good news: Jonathan's Path is working tirelessly to change these statistics and provide a brighter future for teens in foster care. We offer immediate placement for teens entering custody, reducing the trauma of moving from home to home while they await permanent placement, impacting at the same time the choices they make from then on. Consider making a $50 regular monthly donation to support our programs and join Jonathan's Path in the mission to break the cycle and create new opportunities for our young ones. https://zurl.co/0RK0 #nonprofit #adoption #volunteer #fostercareawareness

From all of us at Tuesday's Child hope you had a great holiday weekend with loved ones. Please help us reach our goal for Giving Tuesday. This Tuesday we are to raising money on Giving Tuesday that will help lower income families with financial assistance to access all of our programs. If you are not able to donate maybe there is a friend, relative or coworker that you know that might. Sharing Tuesday's Child donation link on any of your social media's would greatly help us to bring the awareness and mission of Tuesday's Child to families that might need our assistance. https://lnkd.in/gbD_FtPP Here is a testimonial form the Williams Family- Kenny had challenges in school. He was aggressive with other children when he didn’t get his way. His teachers didn’t understand what was going on. He was attending an excellent school, but sometimes even the best schools need assistance. It was very helpful to be in the Tuesday’s Child parent sessions and good to know other parents had the same frustrations and difficulties. To know we weren’t alone. His behavior has improved both at school and at home. As parents, we’ve become more understanding and compassionate. Tuesday’s Child was there for us. They helped us communicate. He’s able to use his words instead of his hands, to express his feelings instead of lashing out and throwing a tantrum #givingtuesday #charity #donate #tuesdayschild #kids #preschool #parents #teacher #care #chicago #kids #nonprofit #autism #ptsd #nonverbal
